Love this series. Book 4 is an awesome climax and ends with great potential for a #5.
I found these series so far to be very fascinating, interesting and I can have a hard time putting them down! The characters are well written interesting and very visit and the mind. It is a show of humanity at its worst, at its best and add it's possibility
Don't want to be a spoiler but what I took from this book is sometimes you have to appear to be the monster in order to show you are truly a hero. Enjoyed the characters and found it easy as an American reader to translate the English slang. Not using the words English slang in a derogatory manner, it's just some of the words or phrases cause me to pause. Not so, with this author.
I like how the author uses his writing style. It doesn't make the zombie apocalypse glamorized. Not with soldiers being the heroes and just writing about who kicked who where and how much bullets they had in the weapons. It's about real people and what can happen when something tragic occurs. when people are faced with having to decide what kind of person they want to be I love Ryan Casey he's a great writer
I have read all the books in this series and I have so many negative things to say. This book was so problematic. I must admit that you are not necessarily bored by this read but you will roll your eyes often at just how unbelievable the situations can be even for a fictitious book. Main characters should have died lifetimes ago. Situations ago. But yet they are standing among the dead and living. Then it seems at the end we have to do something so dramatic that even Hayden can’t escape this one (please spare me). Too many cliff hangers that it’s an overkill. And when those cliffhangers spill into other books it just makes a person want to STOP READING THIS GARBAGE.
